One of the most important things to ever learn about, regardless what it is, is the history of a subject. There truly is something to be said about learning from the past. Successes and mistakes are both equally important to learn about when mastering a subject. Science is no different. Learning about how prior scientist came up with their ideas is key to understanding future endeavors in scientific discoveries. But we must review these old theories and ensure that no minor mistakes were made. Take Einstein for example and his theories on Relativity. Einstein struggled with the math and it was not adding up correctly. Therefore he squeezed in a small piece into the formula to make it work. Are we absolutely sure that this was the correct solution? It very likely was, but what if it wasn't? How many others have done this? So I propose and challenge you to go back and review these problems all around, not just in the math. Think outside the box, critically. And find out if there are any other possible solutions that may work better. One of the first things you are taught in college/university physics is that it's all mainly a theory. We have reached a point in Physics where its almost at a standstill. Not everything, but compared to how fast we have been making breakthroughs over the last century, we have definitely slowed down and have got stuck in certain areas. Especially when it comes to the quantum world, magnetism, and a unified theory. I therefore am suggesting that we have missed something or mistaken something small in the past. And that is what is throwing us all off so largely now. 1. So what are your guys thoughts on this? 2. Anyone have any suggestions on what it could be? 3. What are your thoughts and suggestions on this subject? Let's here from you guys! Let's brainstorm, think critically, and get this figured out! Also anyone else is free to open a subject relating to science, in any branch. The goal is to ask questions, search for results, and most important is to get as many involved in this whole endeavor. So tell everyone you know to join this. Let's exercise our brains and go above and beyond. We are going to be responsible for the next major science evolution and its going to happen from doing this and hopefully right here!
